Start Your Online Business With No Money and No Experience
Many people talk about starting an online business, but when they discover what is involve, the abandon the idea. The truth is, you can start a profitable online business without money, without a product, and without specialized knowledge of any computer language. All you need is the willingness to work.
First, determine what subject (called niche) you are interested in. This is important because all of the products you sell will be related to this niche. If your site is related to bird watching, few of your visitors will be interested in chain saws. You would produce many more sales by offering, birdhouses, bird feed, binoculars and other related bird watching products.
A blog is an ideal vehicle to start your business. It works just like a website but you do not need and specialized knowledge of a computer language to enter information. Entering information to your blog is as easy as using a word processor. If you can type (even if you can only hunt and peck), you can use a blog. Register with one of the companies that provide free blogs. By doing a search, you will find lots of them.
When registering, you will need to choose a name for your blog. Make sure that the name you select is related to your niche. Using the example above, “Bird Town” might be a good name. This is important, so put some thought into the name that you choose.
Next, add content to your blog. If you like to write, you can add your own articles. Again, make sure that your articles are all related to your niche. If you are not a writer, go to the large article directories, and look for interesting articles in your niche. You can use any of these articles for your blog as long as you include the author’s name and resource information. If you go this route, make sure you include that information! Start out with at least 4 or 5 related articles.
Now for the money making part. Locate 5 to 10 affiliate products that are related to your niche. You can find a very good selection of products at ClickBank, PayDotCom, or Commission Junction. These companies allow you to sell the products that they offer and will give you a commission ranging from 30% to 75% on each sale. You do not need any sort of payment button or anything like that on your blog if you use products from these companies.
Place small ads above, below and around the articles that you have on your blog. Make sure each product advertisement is closely related to the information in the article that it is near. This is critical if you want to make money. If your advertisement is for bird feeders, place the ad near an article that discusses where to place bird feeders for maximum bird activity. Do this with all of your articles and advertisements.
By using these simple techniques, you can establish a profitable online business without money, without a product, and without specialized knowledge of any computer language. All you need is the willingness to work. So, get started!
