Parrot Mki9100
Pairing with Bluetooth car kit mobile phones can prove challenging. Different manufacturers and sometimes individual phones, Bluetooth connections to various menus set and selections. This guide shows how to use the iPhone 4, BlackBerry Curve 8900 pair, and Nokia E72 mobile phone with speakerphone and MKi9100 accompanied a video on each.
Often navigating their phone menu system to know that they need to achieve a Bluetooth connection, but no idea how to achieve this goal. This is not surprising because there are so many different phones on the market, and therefore many different ways to build the same Bluetooth functionality. Often, when a successful connection is established , this is a reason for happiness.
Here in this guide, we broke the Bluetooth pairing process for three different brands of phone, the iPhone 4, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 and the Nokia E72. This manual should be similar for other phones of this manufacturer, but are not guaranteed to be the same. In other Brands of the phone, it is easier to understand what functions must be found, by the sight of themselves, these three sets of menu options.
A mini-screen MKi9100 Parrot car kit was used for the pairing of each phone.
First, it is necessary, for the mobile phone means within Bluetooth range this the phone should the car and the engine of the vehicle must be turned on.
IPhone Pair 4:
- Select Main Menu – Settings – General – Bluetooth,
- Turn on Bluetooth,
- Select Parrot MKi device and enter default code "0000".
Couple BlackBerry Curve 8900:
- Select BlackBerry Menu key – Managing Connections – To enable Bluetooth – Setting up a Bluetooth – Search,
- Phone finds the MKi9100 device, click on it, select it,
- Enter the MKi default code "0000" on the coupling,
- Before you connect to "Yes" on the phone with the Parrot kit, select the Check box "do not ask this again," enters the automatic coupling of the phone every time the car.
Pair Nokia E72:
- Select Function Keys: Menu – Ctrl. Panel – Connectivity – Bluetooth (Bluetooth for the first time the use of the mobile phone need to be assigned a name),
- In this menu there are three tabs – "Settings", "Paired devices" and "Blocked Devices", scroll right to the main navigation button for the second "Paired Devices" tab
- Click Options – New paired device – Other devices,
- The phone searches for the kit, when found, click it and type MKi default code "0000",
- Click Yes Authorize device automatically make connections "(for the automatic coupling when you enter the car),
- Click Yes to "authorize device to accept connection" (to synchronize Address Book contacts from phone to car).
In most Cases, these measures will prove sufficient, however, if the coupling fails, it may be of use to set the Parrot kit for a phone to pair with . Search
Set the Parrot Car Kit MKi9100 phones to find:
- Click the scroll wheel and turn reach until "Preferences" (click to select)
- Click scroll wheel to select "Bluetooth",
- Want to scroll to reach "Pair with" (click to select)
- Click on "Other phones" option.
Once paired each these three phones should now automatically benefit from the database of phone book synchronization to the Bluetooth car kit. This allows for caller ID on the Parrot car kit screen be and is a common feature of all kits that have a display.
